Opus Arcade is provided free of charge for personal entertainment. Using the site means accepting what follows.
Accounts
Registration is invite-only. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity under your account. One person, one account; do not share accounts or register on someone else's behalf.
Coins have no value
Coins are an in-game score, earned by playing, and are spent only on cosmetic items inside the arcade. Coins cannot be purchased, have no monetary value, are not convertible into money, goods, or anything outside the arcade, and confer no ownership or property right. There is no payment processor on this site and no mechanism by which money can change hands. Nothing here is an offer to wager.
Fair play
Leaderboards only mean something if the scores are real. Do not modify game code, tamper with score submissions, automate play, exploit bugs to inflate results, or use more than one account to influence standings. Accounts found doing so may have scores removed and may be suspended or banned. Please report bugs through the in-arcade feedback button rather than exploiting them.
Conduct
Display names and feedback submissions must not be abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or impersonate someone else. Anything that breaks this may be changed or removed without notice.
Availability
The arcade is run as a personal project. It is offered as is, with no warranty of any kind and no guarantee of uptime, data retention, or continued existence. Cabinets may be added, changed, or retired, and scores may be reset if a cabinet's scoring changes. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from use of the site.
Content
The arcade, its code and its cabinets are the work of the site's author,
with two exceptions. Where a cabinet uses names, characters or other material
from an existing series, that material belongs to its owner and is used here
unofficially, without affiliation or endorsement. And a small number of
third-party components are used under their own licences, which are reproduced
in public_html/assets/vendor/LICENSES.md in the repository and
credited on the about page.
The source is published at github.com/harrisdavidmn/opus-arcade. It is there to be read, not to be reused: all rights are reserved, and publishing the source grants no permission to redistribute, modify or host the arcade or its games, in whole or in part.
Ending your access
You may stop using the arcade at any time and request deletion of your account — see the privacy page. Accounts may be suspended for breaches of these terms.
